One happy Girl

If you ever ask me on a sunny day if I'm in for a trip to the Coast, even in April, I'll be the first one to jump out from my pyjamas.

A quick shower, makeup on, my creamy cinnamon coffee with a croissant and I'm out the door. Not without packing in 10 minutes two large bags of cosmetics, heels and several outfits while asking him to pack the towels and travel pillows. Yes, I did say high hills for the sea side runaway. At the end of the day, there is always room for a short, fun photo-shooting. Memories are for the soul, pictures -a vivid reminder for the eye and heart.

My friends are asking me on a serious tone if I've packed my protective sun cream... it's only April guys, relax!

One hour and a half later, after a 15 minutes stroll to the beach from the parking space we've managed to nail... just about, we arrive to Rye Camber Sands Beach and I really feel that is meed July already. Totally packed with naked bodies, bikini, biceps, tanned legs and children running wild on the sandy coast.

I know it's a sunny day but definitely not a bikini day ... yet. Or is it, though? According to the six pack tattooed guy showering on the beach ... it is. Just watching, no touching!

10 minutes later I regret not having packed my magic Piz Bin Illuminating Sun lotion. This April sun can be quite strong. At least, in my morning rush, I've bagged my sunglasses. We enjoy a fresh fish & chips on the beach, amazed that the entire London decided to spend the day on the coast. Still great, though!

My priorities have obviously shifted lately, they are more happiness orientated if you know what I mean. More smiles, more "smelling the flowers" moments, more gratitude and thanks for my life. As it happens, I even manage to meditate more. And yes, I've started yoga as well. Not obsessing about it in long classes as my time management wouldn't allow it, but some home yoga from time to time. And as sceptical as I might have been about it, it really helps me relax.

As the fab' day by the sea rolls on, I find myself tranquille and in love. In love with my other half, in love with my friends, with the sun gently stroking my skin, in love with my life. With goods and bads, challenging and successful moments, I owe it to myself and to the world to make the most of it. Every single minute of it! Just because I can! And you can, too! Tadaaaam!

On our long beach stroll we've found a lovely sand sculpture of the Easter Bunny! The perfect intro for the weekend we are stepping into. A weekend for love, serenity and light.

Later in the evening, I've also stepped into some sun and wind stroke... apparently, the April sun is not a joke after-all.

Stay happy and blessed, kids!

Happy Easter!

Hugs & Kisses,

Corina Alexandra
